Pagan Coffee and Chat

An informal get-together were we chat about our lives, things going on in the pagan community, the local community happenings, current pagan happenings, what events are added to the calendar as well as planning some future events. Please join us and get to know the pagans in the Green Bay area.

Pagan Discussion and Education Evening

- Third Friday of Every Month, 7:30 pm
A family friendly event, we gather together to learn and discuss a specific topic for the evening, presented by one of the members of the Northeast Wisconsin Pagan Community. In the past we have gone over a variety of topics from the Cernunnos Archetype, to the Notorious Norse Trickster, Loki, to the Heliopolis Ennead, to Slavic Mythology and everything in between. Pagan Study Group
- Dawn's Home, De Pere, WI
- Every Tuesday at 7pm
Each week a group of us meet at Dawn's to study books by various pagan and non-pagan authors. You do not need to own a copy of the book being covered to attend. Past books covered include, "Paganism" by Joyce and River Higgenbotham, "Wicca" by Scott Cunningham, "Green Witchcraft" by Ann Moura and many others. Introduction to Paganism

Another round of classes introducing the basics of Paganism will begin this January. This class is great for the beginner, the pagan curious or the practiced Pagan who wants a refresher and some insight. To register for this free class, contact: newpagan@gmail.com

Candlemas

Pagan Spirit Gathering
Camp Zoe, Near Salem, Missouri

Annually a large group of our members attend Pagan Spirit Gathering put on by Circle Sanctuary. For more information on this festival please visit the PSG site at http://www.circlesanctuary.org/psg/

Pagan Day Out
Art Street - Downtown Green Bay

Annually we attend Art Street to listen to music, watch performances, shop the vendors and enjoy a lunch together. More information will be available as we get closer to the date.

3rd Annual Pagan Picnic
Optimist Park - 801 Cook St, De Pere, WI 54115

There will be food, chanting, a small ritual and perhaps even some drumming if our drummers are able to attend. This event is open to all local pagans, their friends and family. Please bring a dish to pass (with a lid of some kind to fight off wasps) with enough for at least 10-15 people and your own meat to be grilled if you would like grilled meat of some kind. This event is also Bring Your Own Beverage, but please - no alcoholic beverages.

Winter Woolies Drive
Donations go to the Golden House
2131 Deckner Ave. (on the East side)

Annually for the past five years, we have collected blankets and winter goods for Golden House in Green Bay. This includes but is not limited to: hats, mittens, jackets, blankets and scarves. You are welcome to clean out your closets or to hand make something to donate. This is annually coordinated by Caitlin, so please contact her at caitlin.tackmier@gmail.com for further details.

Community Yule Dinner

Our annual Yule Dinner is generally held at a local restaurant. A small fee per person (about the cost of a dinner) will apply in advance to cover charges of renting a special room and covering food costs. As always, attendees are responsible for paying for their own alcoholic beverages at the bar, soda, tea and coffee is included in the cost per person. Be prepared for some impromptu singing and a white elephant gift exchange... to say the least.
